DHR-ICMR Advanced Molecular Oncology Diagnostic Services (DIAMOnDS)
DHR-ICMR Advanced Molecular Oncology Diagnostic Services (DIAMOnDS) is a sub-scheme established under the umbrella scheme of Human Resource and Capacity Development approved for the 15thFinance Commission period 2020-21 to 2025-26. This initiative aims to set up zonal oncopathology labs to provide basic as well as high-end advance diagnostic services to cancer patients and research facilities for basic, translational and clinical research. These laboratories are established in Government Medical Colleges that will ensure the optimum utilization of facilities available there, in terms of equipment and manpower.

As per the approved SFC for 15th Financial Commission, 3 new DIAMOnDS Centers can be established each year during 2020-21 to 2025-26. Therefore, following 3 centres during the year 2020-21 has also been established: .

- AIIMS Bhopal
- Adyar Cancer Institute, Chennai
