DHR-ICMR Advanced Molecular Oncology Diagnostic Services (DIAMOnDS) is a sub-scheme established under the umbrella scheme of Human Resource and Capacity Development approved for the 15thFinance Commission period 2020-21 to 2025-26. This initiative aims to set up zonal oncopathology labs to provide basic as well as high-end advance diagnostic services to cancer patients and research facilities for basic, translational and clinical research. These laboratories are established in Government Medical Colleges that will ensure the optimum utilization of facilities available there, in terms of equipment and manpower.
